Navigation in virtual environments usually aims to either be fast or immersive. PinchMove differs in that regard, where it prioritizes accuracy of movement. It uses viewpoint manipulation and pinch gestures through a "pull-to-walk" approach, whereas rotation is handled through a subtle orbital technique that orbits the user around their hands, to create accurate movements around a targeted object.
